World leaders to attend Peres funeral Friday

US President Barack Obama and other world leaders will attend the funeral for Israel’s Shimon Peres on Friday, a spokesman for Israel’s foreign ministry said Wednesday.
Others expected to attend include French President Francois Hollande, German President Joachim Gauck and Britain’s Prince Charles, foreign ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon told AFP.
The funeral will be held at Jerusalem’s Mount Herzl cemetery, where many Israeli dignitaries are buried.
